High Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, and many of us know it for its importance to immunity. But vitamin C is important for heart health as well, and these high vitamin C recipes will help you get all you need.

Because of its antioxidant power, vitamin C's effects are widespread in the body, and the heart is no exception. Studies conducted suggest vitamin C may be protective against heart failure, cardiovascular disease, and ischemic heart disease. Additionally, vitamin C may lower your risk of hypertension.

It's important to note that these effects are usually not observed with vitamin C supplementation, so it's vital to consume a variety of fruits and vegetables to ensure adequate intake.
