Grilled Broccoli and Onions with Lemony Caper and Thyme Sauce

Ingredients

Broccoli

  • 1 lb Broccoli Florets, fresh or frozen
  • 1 large Onion, halved and sliced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Lemon

Lemony Caper and Thyme Sauce

  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp Capers
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill on medium heat.

  2. Toss broccoli, onions, and garlic cloves with olive oil and place on grill pan.

  3. Move the grill pan to preheated grill, and squeeze ½ lemon over the mixture.

  4. Grill on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until desired level of doneness is reached, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning.

  5. Meanwhile, whisk all ingredients for the sauce together, until combined.

  6. Scoop broccoli onto serving plate, and drizzle with lemony caper & thyme sauce. Serve immediately.
